“ Full 5 Star Review this restaurant is 1 of the most High Class Restaurants I’ve ever been to. There service and food is Extraordinary. Definitely High Class. Never had a rock lobster that huge. I got too full off their delicious bread, tasty lemonade and their surf and turf. Definitely will be coming back for the Eggplant dinner and desert. ”
“ My husband and I are from out of town and decided to try dinner here after reading all the wonderful reviews. It is an intimate restaurant with limited seating. We arrived at 5:00 and we're immediately seated. As soon as we were seated we received basket of bread with butter and water. Our server, Marco, appeared shortly after asking if we would like cocktails. He was extremely friendly, entertaining, and attentive. I ordered a gin martini which arrived in a very generous size martini glass. My husband ordered a Bourbon neat and his serving size was much smaller. We started with the flaming feta cheese dish ,Saganki, which was flamed tableside giving a bit of a show. It was very good on the bread provided to us. All of the entrees come with salad, soup, and a side of the day's vegetables. The salad was also tossed and dressed tableside by Marco and served on chilled salad plates which I thought was a nice touch. The soup option offered three choices of chowder, onion soup or minestrone. My husband had the onion and said it was very good. I had the minestrone a soup and it was delicious. For entrees my husband chose the eggplant parmesan which he said was very tasty. I ordered the Triestins, which was thin slices of a veal and marinated artichokes in a light lemon sauce. It was very delicious. After dinner ,the restaurant provides a bowl with walnuts and fruit for a light finish. I ordered a glass of limoncello which was perfectly chilled and really good. For dessert we ordered the bread pudding with a Jack Daniels sauce and this was my only disappointment as it was a small amount of bread pudding around a scoop of ice cream. It was very good but I would have preferred just the bread pudding. I ended my meal with a cup of espresso. Overall I felt that the prices were very fair considering all of the food that was received during dinner that would be considered a la carte anywhere else. I do recommend coming to the restaurant hungry and not in a rush as our meal took 2 hours to complete but I felt was paced accordingly. Street parking was a little difficult but definitely worth the trouble to eat at this wonderful establishment. ”
“ This place is a hidden gem! The ambiance is absolutely amazing, and the staff made us feel right at home. You can tell the food is made with love—everything was full of flavor and felt authentically Italian. Even the little details, like the walk to the restroom, were thoughtfully done. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back! ”
“ Just had dinner here with my husband and it was amazing. Not just the food but the experience. Mark (or Marco?) was our server and he was just the best! Top tier service and the food was amazing. Even the atmosphere was quiet and cozy. Just absolutely perfect. Everything was above and beyond our expectations. Even our water glasses never went unfilled. I ordered the surf & turf (10oz lobster tail and filet, cooked to perfection, see pics) and my husband got the veal Parmesan. For dessert we got some kind of fruit medley that was made tableside and served ala mode. Everything was so good! They even gave us an Italian frittata on the house, just because! How nice. We love supporting small businesses in our neighborhood and I’m so glad we found a nice, fancy, perfect little spot right around the corner from our home! We will be back! ”
“ My colleague and I went to an early dinner at Moro’s on a Wednesday evening. The weather outside was a bit inclement, thus there was only one other table occupied for dinner. The ambiance is right out of the 1960’s Sinatra-era. The servers are tuxedoed, white line table cloths, etc. Our server was great, giving us his full attention. The menu offered a good variety, however, several items were no longer available for the evening. However, the waiter was quick to rattle-off about a dozen special dishes for the evening, not on the menu. We began the dinner with a table-prepared salad and fresh bread. This was followed by the soup of the evening, New York-style chowder. My main course of eggplant parmesan was excellent, some of the best I’ve had. We were stuffed, so we did not have dessert. The waiter brought out a nice bowl of fresh whole-fruit and nuts for our pleasure. Overall it was a wonderful experience at this family-owned and operated restaurant. Be prepared for the prices, though....almost 50 for the eggplant. ”
“ Daniel was a perfect waiter. Very attentive as was the helper who constantly filled water glasses and cleared table. I didn’t get the owner’s name but she is such a welcoming hostess who visited each table to greet customers. The food was so delicious from the tossed salad prepared something table side and tasty soup to a nice sized portion of tender veal. The atmosphere so festive with Christmas music playing. My birthday celebration was so memorable. I also noticed the takeout ordering is so easy as they have assigned parking g spot so you don’t have to get out of your car to pickup. ”
“ My girlfriend and I went to dinner at Moros on the 3rd of December 2024. We had an absolutely wonderful time. From the atmosphere to the Christmas music to our waiter and other staff members. And the food was very delicious. My girlfriend had the eggplant Parmesan and said it was very tasty. I had the special broiled salmon and it was cooked to perfection. I'm glad we chose this place to meet and catch up. Oh and the cherries jubilee besides being fantastic the whole table side presentation a great way to top off our dinner period You haven't tried this restaurant go try it. ”
“ Wonderful dining experience. Delicious, made fron scratch, healthy meals, with large portions. Daily specials. Worth the price. Friendly gracious staff. If you want a good meal, for any occasion, make it Moro's. ”
